Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited university. It is not essential that the previous education be in economics. Aside from economics, previous graduate students have had a variety of quantitative backgrounds from computer science to mathematics.

I graduated as one of the first students from the new MSc Program in Economics offered by the IHS and the TU since 2008. Although tough the program was more than rewarding in terms of personal experience and advances of my academic skills.
